One project at a time. Two slots left for October.

Websites with the quiet confidence to close the deal.

Design Flux is an independent, one-person studio. You work with the designer who builds it — no account manager, no relay, no committee softening the work until it looks like everyone else's.

Why solo

Most agencies sell you a team and give you a junior. I only take one project at a time, so the person you brief is the person who draws every screen and writes every line of the build.

Seven years in-house and at two agencies taught me where the value leaks out: in handoffs, status decks, and the slow sanding-down of anything with a point of view.

So there are no handoffs here. Fewer clients, more attention, and work that still has edges when it ships.

One designer. Start to launch.

What I do

Six things, done properly.

I don't take on everything. These are the pieces I've shipped often enough to price honestly and finish on schedule. Open any one to see exactly what you receive.

01 Website designFrom $4,800, usually 4–6 weeks

Marketing sites for companies that need to explain something complicated and get a reply. I start from your sales conversations, not a template — the sitemap comes out of what people actually ask you before they buy.

  • Message and sitemap workshop
  • Wireframes for every page
  • Full visual design
  • Mobile and tablet layouts
  • Copy direction
  • Figma file, yours to keep
02 Webflow & FramerFrom $3,600, usually 2–4 weeks

Design handed over to a platform your team can run without me. I build the CMS so a marketer can publish a case study on a Tuesday afternoon without opening a ticket or learning to code.

  • Pixel-accurate build
  • CMS collections
  • Editor training call
  • Speed and SEO pass
  • Analytics wired up
  • 30 days of fixes
03 Shopify storefrontsFrom $6,200, usually 5–7 weeks

Product pages, collection logic and a checkout path designed around the moment someone decides to buy. I watch your session recordings before drawing anything, because the drop-off is rarely where founders think it is.

  • Product page system
  • Collection and filter design
  • Cart and checkout flow
  • Subscription setup
  • Email template design
  • Post-launch review
04 Brand & design systemsFrom $5,400, usually 4–5 weeks

For teams whose site, deck and product have quietly drifted apart. One set of type, colour and component rules, documented well enough that a new designer can follow it on their first day.

  • Logo and wordmark
  • Type and colour system
  • Component library
  • Icon set
  • Usage guidelines
  • Deck and social templates
05 Conversion audits$1,900 flat, delivered in 10 days

You already have a site and it under-performs. I find where people leave and what to change first, ranked by what it costs against what it returns. Most long-term clients start here.

  • Analytics and funnel review
  • Session recording analysis
  • Heuristic walkthrough
  • Ranked fix list
  • Two screens redesigned
  • 60-minute readout call
06 Care plansFrom $1,400 per month

A launched site is a starting point, not a finish line. Each month I ship improvements, add the pages you need and watch what the numbers do — no scoping call required for anything small.

  • Rolling design and build hours
  • New landing pages
  • Monthly performance report
  • A/B tests
  • Direct Slack channel
  • Cancel any month

Selected work

Three projects, and what changed.

Every number below came from the client's own analytics, measured ninety days after launch.

Northwind FreightLogistics software, United Kingdom

A pricing page that stopped losing the room.

Enterprise buyers dropped out at pricing because the page priced software while the founder sold outcomes. I rebuilt it around shipment volume, added a live cost estimator, and moved the proof up beside the number.

+64%Demo requests
−31%Bounce on pricing
9 wksDesign to launch

Aurelia SkincareDirect to consumer, Singapore

Fewer products on screen, more of them in the cart.

The old storefront showed twenty-four items at once and sold almost none of them. I cut the grid, rewrote the product pages around one question — what does this actually do to my skin — and rebuilt the subscription flow.

+42%Revenue per visitor
+18%Checkout completion
2.4×Subscription signups

Kestrel LabsDeveloper tools, Germany

Documentation people actually finish reading.

Developers signed up and never reached the second API call. I restructured the docs around the first ten minutes, put a runnable example above every explanation, and made search behave the way engineers expect it to.

2.3×Trial activations

How a project runs

Five stages, no surprises.

Stage 1 of 5 — Discovery call

You see work every week and sign off each stage before I move on. Nothing gets built that you haven't already approved in design.

Day 0

Discovery call

Forty-five minutes on what you sell, who says no and why, and what the site has to achieve. If I'm not the right studio for it, I'll say so on the call and point you somewhere better.

You leave with a scope, a fixed price and a start date. No charge.

Week 1

Strategy and sitemap

I interview two or three of your customers, read your sales emails and look at what the analytics already say. Out of that comes the page order and the argument each page has to make.

Sitemap, page-by-page message brief, wireframes.

Weeks 2–4

Design in the open

You get the Figma link on day one and watch it fill in. Comment directly on anything. There's a live review every Thursday, rather than three silent weeks ending in a surprise presentation.

Full desktop and mobile design, two revision rounds included.

Weeks 4–6

Build and quality pass

Built in Webflow, Framer or hand-written code, whichever suits your team. Then tested on real devices, checked against WCAG guidelines, and tuned until it loads fast on a mid-range phone.

Staging link, device test report, speed scores.

Launch

Live, and what follows

I handle the switch-over, redirects and analytics, then train whoever will run the site day to day. Thirty days of fixes are included, and we look at the numbers together at day ninety.

Live site, training call, handover files, 90-day review.

Seven years, measured

Design is a business decision, so it should show up in the numbers.

In their words

What clients mention afterwards is the process, not the pixels.

Our engineers argued against hiring a designer. They now send the docs to candidates.

Questions

Asked on nearly every call.

Something not covered here? Put it in the form below and you'll get a straight answer, not a brochure.

You're one person. What if you get sick or go on holiday?

Fair question, and the honest answer is that timelines have some slack built in for exactly this. You'll always know the current status because the Figma file and staging link are live and shared. For builds I work with two trusted contractors I've used for years, and if anything serious happened they could pick the project up — you'd be told immediately, not after the fact.

We're in a different time zone. Does that work?

It's how I've worked since 2019, across fourteen countries. I hold four overlapping hours with every client and one live call a week at a time that suits you. Everything else happens in Figma, Loom and a shared Slack channel, so nobody waits overnight for an answer to a small question.

Who owns the files when it's finished?

You do, completely, from the final invoice. That includes the Figma file, the source files, the site itself and every account set up in your name. I don't hold hosting hostage and there is nothing to buy back later.

What if we don't like the design?

You'll have seen it long before it's finished, which is the point of the weekly reviews — a surprise is a process failure, not a taste problem. Two full revision rounds are included. If the direction is genuinely wrong after the first design review, I'll redraw it once at no charge.

Do you write the copy?

On Growth projects, yes — drafted with you, because the words and the layout are the same decision. On Launch projects you get a page-by-page brief telling you what each section needs to say and roughly how long it should be, and you write it.

How do payments work?

Fifty per cent to book the slot, the balance at launch, or three stages on larger projects. Bank transfer, card or Wise. Care plans are billed monthly and you can stop any month with no exit fee.
