Privacy Policy
How Designflux collects, uses and protects your information.
Last updated
This policy explains what personal information Designflux collects through this website, why we collect it, who can see it and what choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
Who we are
Designflux is a web design studio, part of Trinity IT, working from Bangladesh with clients around the world. When this policy says “we”, it means Designflux. You can reach us at info@designflux.io or +880 1303 034577.
What we collect, and when
- Budget builder. If you send an offer, we receive your name (if you give it), your email, the budget and options you chose, and any note you write.
- Contact form. Your name, email, phone number (if given), the service and budget range you pick, and your message.
- Chat. To start a chat we ask for your email and, optionally, your name. We then keep the conversation, the page you started on, and what you tell us about your project, such as what you are building, your budget and your deadline. Each chat gets a reference code (for example DF-1A2B3C4D) so you can quote it to us.
- Booking a call. Your name, email, time zone, the time you pick and an optional note.
- Technical data. To block spam and abuse, your IP address is used briefly to limit how many requests one visitor can send. We store it only in a scrambled (hashed) form, and only for a short time (up to a day).
We do not ask for payment details on this website, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive information. Please do not put passwords or payment card numbers in the chat or the forms.
Cookies and browser storage
This website does not set cookies and does not use advertising or analytics trackers at the time of writing. To make the chat and the budget builder work, your browser keeps a few small items of its own (local and session storage):
- your email and name, if you started a chat, so we do not ask again;
- the reference of your current chat, so you can carry on if you reload the page;
- your last budget choice, for the length of your visit.
These stay on your device. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings. If we add analytics later, we will update this page first.
How we use your information
- To reply to you, send you a price or proposal, and plan and deliver your project.
- To arrange and confirm calls.
- To keep the website secure and stop spam.
- To keep a record of enquiries so we can follow up, and to improve how we answer common questions.
Where the law asks for a legal basis, we rely on: taking steps you ask for before a contract (a quote or proposal), our legitimate interest in running and protecting a small business, and your consent where you give it (for example by starting a chat). You can withdraw consent at any time.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
The chat assistant (AI)
The first replies in the chat come from an AI assistant. To write a reply, the text of your chat messages, and the project details you shared in the chat, are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes them on our behalf under its own terms and privacy policy (anthropic.com/privacy). The assistant says clearly that it is an AI, and a member of our team can join the conversation at any time. Please do not share anything in the chat that you would not want processed this way.
Who else sees your information
Only our team, and the service providers that help us run the website, store the data and send email, for example our hosting and email provider and the AI provider named above. They may only use it to provide their service to us. We may also share information if the law requires it. Because we and some providers are in different countries, your information may be processed outside the country where you live.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries, chats and call requests for as long as they are useful for replying to you and running a possible project, and for a reasonable time afterwards for our records. The chat history shown in our admin keeps only the most recent conversations, and older ones are removed automatically. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit or object to how we use it, and to withdraw your consent. To use any of these rights, email info@designflux.io. If you contact us about a chat, include your chat reference (the DF- code). We will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We keep the information on the website’s own server and in our email, with access limited to our team, and we use encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so please share only what is needed.
Children
This website is for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the “last updated” date at the top.
